In this report I will be discussing and analysing about the organisational structure, culture, leadership and teamwork style at bottom a occupancy and comparing two case studies (Watson and H&M) with these different aspects. version from the Case Studies, Watsons Engine Components is an independent, family owned company located in the North East of England that produces parts for car engines, whereas H&M Consulting (H&M) is a large global management, engineering and development consultancy, that workings on thousands of projects across the world in many argonas, such as transport, energy, buildings, water, the environment, health, education and communications.

Organisational Design and Structure
The purpose of structure is the variation of work among members of the organisation, and the co-ordination of their activities so they are directed towards the goals and objectives of the organisation. Structure is most-valuable for any organisation as it affects not only productiveness and economic efficiency but also the morale and melodic line satisfaction of the workforce. Structure should be designed to encourage the unstrained participation of members of the organisation and effective organisational performance.





Watsons employs 200 people in total, comprising 125 semi-skilled production workers, 15 clerical workers, 20 practiced staff and 40 managers. The structure within Watsons is very obsolescent fashioned as stated in the case. The structure with Watsons is a Centralised structure where decisions are made by the aged(a) managers at the top of the business. The benefits of a centralised structure within Watsons is that the managers will have a lot of experience of do business decisions and managers will get an overview of the whole business, so decisions are consistent throughout the business. Senior managers at Watsons arent dark-skinned towards one department so they can make the better(p) decisions for the business as a whole.
