Instructions for Group Projects
Winter 2011
Students give form their own groups, which exit include 3 to 5 students. Groups bequeath select a field of study related to all aspect of Recruitment and Selection and will research that topic. severally group will submit a brief exposition of the proposed topic to the professor for her approval by February 16, 2009.
The project may be a thorough literature review of the proposed topic and a description of how the knowledge would be applied in an organization. However, students are encouraged to work with a business or community group to get hands on convey applying the knowledge they have gained on the topic.
Each group will submit a research paper to the professor on the last day of class. The paper will include a title page, research report with headings and subheadings (as needed to organize the report), type list, and appendices (as needed).
Each group will also do a class presentation that demonstrates their knowledge of the topic and provides a pregnant learning experience for their classmates. More information about presentations will be discussed in class.
Examples of possible topics include, but are not limited to:
1.Conduct a thorough seam synopsis of a particular job for an organization, and write a job description that could be used when recruiting and selecting employees.
2.Create a enlisting plan for an organization.
3.Conduct an audit of recruitment and/or pickaxe practices used by an organization.
4.Identify appropriate selection tools for a particular job or class of jobs in an organization.
