One’s perception as to how tensity is experience depends on whether or not one’s judgment of the environment is perceived as challenging or threatening. Nevertheless, stress will always be typical of day-after-day life and most in life will experience vary amounts of stress at different points in their lives. Stress very much leads to anxiety about certain situations that might be impertinently to the individual(a), such as first day on the agate line or high stakes to the individual, such as College entrance exams; anxiety is a normal reaction to threatening, unsafe, uncertain, or of the essence(predicate) situations (Franken, 2002 p 272).
In the greater part of anxiety-filled situations, the stress passes and the individual continues to function normally. Stress and anxiety become abnormal when they crush one’s ability to function in day-to-day life (Larsen & Sylvester, 2004).
In the individual who suffers from Generalized Anxiety Disorder the cycle of stress, worry and anxiety cannot break and the individual worries endlessly and persistently about a real or imagined idolise (Durand. & Barlo, 2000).
