Death is a part of life, and viewed differently by everyone. In this paper, we lead look at , a poem. We will discuss a piece by Dylan doubting Thomas, and its content, form and style, as well as my interpretation, in hopes to understand how this source assist death, and shares emotion by their writing.
Dylan Thomas wrote; Do Not Go Gentle into that Good Night. A poem, the writer created in delight in of his dying father. This poem is associated with endings, change, and imminent unknown challenges. (Clugston, 2010) This poem duologue about fighting against death. With words like, Rage, rage against the dying of the light. (Thomas, D., 1952) In Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night, poet Dylan Thomas uses metaphors for death. Nighttime is used as describing ones demise.



Dylan anguishes over his fathers willing acceptance of death. (Annas, P., Rosen, R., 2006) Thomas, uses past experiences, for which a man fights, and lets the indorser know that even during death a person should non just lay down, and allow death to take extend easily. Thomas necessitates his father to emulate these past men, and their resistance to death. Creatively, through emotional images, the poet advocates human responses that fit such circumstances. (Clugston, 2010) Here the writer feels he needs to tell his father to fight until that extreme minute. He begs his father to Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, which is what he would prefer to see.
