No one can truly be hip-hopd for the entire tight solid food epidemic, though the fault can be weighed more heavily to one incline of the scale than the other. Many fingers have been pointed in many places, unless I believe that most, not all, of the blame goes toward the p bents. There ar other factors that have input to the fast food business office such as: cost of healthier food, time to give food, and availability of healthy food, but the most common primer is that p arents do not larn kids which foods they should discharge. In The Battle Against Fast Food Begins in the Home written by Daniel Weintraub, it is clear shown that if parents would take a bigger role in what their kids eat it would solve a large portion of the childhood obesity problem.
Parents need to teach their kids which foods are bad for them and which are soundly for them. Daniel hit the nail right on the head when he wrote It is parents-not the governments, not the fast food companies, not the video-game manufacturers- who are responsible for teaching kids healthy eating and exercise habits (1). Parents teach their kids many things such as riding a bike, how to slop and read, but when they teach them right from wrong it never seems to carry out to the foods they eat.



Parents find it easier to just give their kids that fast, easy meal and blame someone else because the blame has been put somewhere else so far. Parents are even suing McDonalds for making their kids fat! Parents should not blame McDonalds for their kids health, but should teach kids to avoid fast food and what to eat rather. They should show their kids what is bad for them and just establish to teach them to limit their fast food intake instead of cutting it out altogether because limiting fast food will be much more successful. Its near time that parents assume the role of teaching their kids what they should and should not eat.
