Eligibility High School seniors Application/Release must be turned in with entry Certification of pilot film exertion must be turned in with entry takings PATRIOTISM - devoted love, support, and defense of ones country; national committal; love of and devotion to ones country. Awards First place - $ calciferol to the student and $500 to the school Art Department 2 Runner- ups - $250 to the student and $250 to the school Art Department The winners will be chosen by the Legionnaires at our Department Convention (usually held in June or July). The winners will be notified within a calendar month of the Convention. All decisions are final. Entries Must be the original function of the student (Certificate of Original Effort signed) All entries become the keeping of the Florida American Legion (release signed) Multi-media accepted (photography, painting, drawing, pastels, stitchery, sculpture, etc.
