Santos defines the theme of The Lottery Ticket that the mere thought of

This type of critique supports my position because it
allows the person whos reading it really find what this story is really about. To
his shock and amazement, he saw the serial publication 9,499. Without checking the ticket number
yet, he and his wife already started dreaming of a good life.(Santos 1). The quote
represents the theme by showing that money can harshly impact a personal relationship
really chop-chop and start thinking things that are not going to put in true. I will use this
information in my second paragraph showing the facts on how money can core group the life of a
