I was born(p) and raised a Miami Dolphins fan and I muted am today. In 1972, the Miami Dolphins executed the perfect inure. They went un-defeated in the regular season winning fourteen consecutive games. They then won twain play-off games and the Super Bowl to finish the family 17-0. They were the first team, and still the only team, to play a full season without losing a game. As the point goes, that I still adjudicate each year, is that the surviving players and the head coach (Don Shula) celebrate every year when the last un-defeated team loses. Not only do they celebrate, further specifically, that they all pop champagne when the team loses. This invention was started by three players of the Dolphins team who were together after the last un-beaten unconnected and they only did it one time. Don Shula also stated that the story is un-true and that he has never celebrated their un-beaten season after it occurred. I believe this story is still talked roughly today because the sports media brings it up every year.

I can recall hearing about the story this year when the Green Bay Packers started their season 13-0 sooner losing to the Kansas City Chiefs. Espns flagship program, Sports Center, started off their nightly broadcast with allow the Champagne flow in Miami. Even though the story has been debunked by the coach himself, I believe we exit hear about it every year until another team in the long run goes un-defeated. As long as the media keeps the story alive, thither will be plenty of people (including myself until now) that will believe there is actually a party every year for the 1972 team.
