Taking a religious stand I would have got to say God would not appreciate us destroying the earth. If we spirit into the bible as guidance on this question it entirely the way states that God is creator and possessor of the universe. the earth is the Lords, and everything in it, the world, and alone who live in it belong to God (Ps 24:1). yet it is not said he is the sole owner but it is acknowledged worldly concern plays an intregal role as part owner of nature. God planted a garden in the east..... took cosmos and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and comport kick of it(Gen 2:8,15). Through scripture God is visualised as the gardener and places man to work and take care of creation on his behalf, demonstrating that in our world man is obligated to live with creation and not performance it.

Gods creation of man was unique in comparison to other creatures. slice was created in the image of God and given a purpose, to have dominion over the earth, to be fruitful and to engage the earth and scale it (Gen 1:26-28). God bestowed upon man the cleverness to think, pray, decide and hold dominion over creation. In rove to fulfil Gods law to be fruitful, man was required to work the soil and grow plants.



God neer expected man to restrict the earth in the initial state that it was when it was created, in fact God gave man kinda a different mandate. This mandate being not to keep society in a primitive and static farming(a) land, but God calls man to develop the land, to fill the Earth, subdue it and have dominion over it(Gen 1:28). The earths natural resources are mans tools of dominion (Gen1:26) however, in no way does this give man license to exploit nature. Rather, man role is to be the superintendent who is responsible to touch the dominion mandate. This dominion is not be taken lightly, it places man with a huge responsibility.
